I'm wondering just how much it is possible to fit into one day. Rearranging furniture, decorations up, craft work, supermarket, hardware shop, art gallery, clearing things for charity shop, tidy tip, three lots of baking, washing machine repair, cleaning, making dinner, wrapping gifts...... Christmas might be only once a year, but it certainly takes its toll.
Todays advent calendar has had to feature some of my baking - all wrapped up and ready to deliver tomorrow.
Priorities - it is easy to get absorbed in a catalogue of tasks and forget to invest in relationships this time of year. Tomorrow, I hope to redress the balance. I have put aside my schedule to make room for a visit from a dear friend.
