Epiphany

Yesterday I started on the January word list, only misread the date and did todays in error. So today, as I still had all the decorations gathered on the dining table ready to be packed in to boxes, I took yesterday's word. After all, the dull grey wet day outside had little to offer.

One year we bought a tree and I realised that we had nothing for the top and so I hastily crafted a golden crown in playgroup activity style. Set at a jaunty angle on the top of the tree I rather liked it and so the crown continued year after year and is now quite battered. The three kings are from my advent calendar which also dates back to when the children were small and has been out every year since.

A bowl full of Christmas cheer! Would have been a colourful sight on your tree! Goes well with the religious meaning of the word!

Nicely composed shot. I love the colors.
P.S. The words in this challenge don't need to be used in any particular order.

Lovely memories all being packed away for another year.

I don't know about you but I'm always excited to get the decorations out and then sad to put them away with all the memories they hold. Now you have a lovely photo to look at throughout the year.

@maggiemae yes it was the religious meaning of Epiphany I was thinking about - in the absence of any appearance of the other kind.
@kwind All packed away now.
@skstein thank you - and for your visit to my project. Im thinking that the words in the right order will give me a structure to work with in this difficult month photographically. Thanks though - I may well deviate.
@shylaine3304 Yes. Especially the ones we build with our own families!
@onewing Yes. How kind of you to be commenting when things are so difficult for you right now.
@flowerfairyann I love to get them out and put them up - quite close to Christmas but I quite like packing them away too!
