serendipity

Things weren't going to schedule and I got lost in the car whilst taking a detour on a photographic reconnaissance. Abandoned for another day, as I had to get to the supermarket (doesn't life just get in the way?). But, I spotted some clumps of snowdrops in the churchyard I was passing and the sun emerged to bring a delightful beam of light upon them.

I have quickly picked one of my many shots to post as I am travelling to Cheshire this evening and need to get a move on.
What a happy ending to your photo search -- these look great and b&w brings out their form well.

Quite a large clump of snowdrops. Glad you managed to spot them on your busy travels.

Very nice shot! The first snowdrops bloom in my garden, but not as full as in your picture.

Totally agree - life does indeed get in the way of photography! However, you still managed to nail an excellent shot!
