Once again, this is all a silly rush. I need 48 hours in my day.
Spent this morning exploring some North Bedfordshire villages and all was grey, windy and damp. I followed a route map backwards. Or rather, I failed to do so. Each segment was inadvertently doubled due to wrong turns and the like.
Looking forward to a bit of colour back in March. Hope it arrives as we are predicted a solid run of rain for the next week or so.
Meanwhile, in keeping with the mood of the day, you get grey. The murky grainy aspect of the picture was already there, and as I thought it quite atmospheric, I exaggerated it a little with a grainy filter. There wasn't much colour to remove.
Lovely flight capture, Helen! Interesting grainy processing . . . every time I view your processed images I remind myself that I want to try some similar processing techniques . . . so far it hasn't happened but there's always tomorrow, right? :-)

@taffy thank you - I'm still at the stage of excitement just to get a BIF in the frame!
