The Boathouse Blues

So today, I had thought there would be no difficulty in finding blue, with the sky to fall back on. The sky let me down. I searched in nature but there were no blues to be found.

So intense was my search, that when I came home, I put my blue capped key into the front door lock. But blue is for back door. I've never made that mistake before! Yes I did get the camera out, but I have chosen the blue that I found in the boat house. All the boats on the river were red today, but the ones stored indoor were blue and shiny.
Who'd have thoguht it would be so hard to find blue?! I'm always putting the wrong keys in the wrong slots oops!

Strange how some days are so difficult to capture even 1 photo. So I'm thinking that this is the upside down part if a keel?

It does seem odd that it was so difficult to find blue for a photo . . . glad you were lucky enough to find some blue boats. Nice shiny, blue image! :-)

Lol - the sky let me down too. So it was back inside to hunt down some blues. This is lovely Helen, such lovely soft tones and shades.

I love how you send yourself on a quest to find the colors. Very adventurous! I like this blue and the way it shimmers.
