Ever since the local community choir performed Anthology of All Things - work by a local artist - in which one of the pieces was a remembrance roll call of Park Benches - I have taken to reading our local park benches, and recognising the words, as performed in the piece.
This husband and wife pair of park bench memorials seemed like fair game for the half and half theme to me.
In this case the halves are better as a whole, aren't they? Good idea and picture!
A representative from Olympus cameras spoke to our photo club last night on mirrorless cameras. You may want to research a few of their models. Olympus was the first to introduce this camera to the general public and they are very innovative in what the camera can and can't do. Rather than try to remember all the technical things he said, I'll just summarize by saying the cameras really impressed me especially with what effects and such you can edit right in the camera! If you type 'Olympus, mirrorless cameras in google, I'm sure several websites will come up so you can learn more about them.
@ethelperry Thank you Ethel. @gardenfolk Thanks. Yes - half and half is everywhere - but is fun to have a common theme @olivetreeann thank you so much for your comments Ann. This is much appreciated. I have plenty of time to research and come up with what I really want for the future, as last night I was presented with a new camera - the TZ70 which I had originally picked out. I think it will suit me to have a compact, even if I still hope to get a mirrorless one day as well. @moonmtn thank you Kashia. @onewing Yes there are some fun and some very personal memorials, which you realise when you take time to read them. @m2016 thanks Mel. Much appreciated @gaylewood Thank you Gayle. @fotoblah well cheers! It had to be something that my phone camera could make the most of, and it was raining, so I needed to be creative!
