In the fields: and through the grasses

As mentioned in yesterday's post, it was a damsel fly and a butterfly that caught my attention at first, when I stopped to observe the insect life amongst the grasses of the field. Unfortunately the damsel failed to position herself where I could get a clear shot - a pity because the light was just perfect - just too much grass in the way and nothing I could do about it. I liked the glistening colours which is why I have still included it here in this series.

Once again, I am so encouraged by you, my readers and followers. Thank you for all of your lovely attention to my project.
Watching her through the grasses and taking the shot that way makes it very natural and as if we are right there looking through the grasses with you.

I have found it very difficult to photograph dragonflies/damsel flies. I think you have done a great job.

They are not easy to photograph and you have done so well here with a difficult subject.
