Spotted the ETSOOI challenge this morning and decided to have a bit of fun with that today.
Friday was a birthday, and I confess to feeling just a little forgotten by family when we left at mid-day for our weekend away having heard from neither my sister, my brother nor my Dad. However, as we were travelling, a large bouquet of flowers was delivered to my doorstep and found by my son when he returned from work in the evening. His mission, to keep them alive until my return, was truly successful; I swear they did not, and do not look at all like this. They look lovely. But it was too bad, I had already spotted the ETSOOI challenge. https://365project.org/discuss/themes-competitions/30126/new-etsooi-challenge-flowers
So the small pretty flowers became cross-processed, texturized, and liquified then reconstructed through a couple of gentle layers of the original image. All good fun - now what was it I was supposed to be doing?
Thank you for all your kind words - especially in regard to my writing. I often think I churn out too many words, and am always amazed that you have the time and kindness to read them!
A spectacular result from your cross-processing, texturizing, liquifying, and layering. Last weekend my brother-in-law gave me (and helped me install) a folder full of Lightroom Presets which I think will start me on the road to experimenting with some processing on my images similar to the processing you have mastered. At least I THINK I might be able to do that . . . of course first I have to commit to spending the time on that experimentation. Time always seems to be the issue, doesn't it? :-)
I enjoy your writings too!
