Although the decorations came down last week, I haven't actually put them away. That is today's task. Which is why I have just spent a couple of hours on 365 project.
The box has nothing to do with Christmas, it was passed on from my parents-in-laws house and contains shells that he collected as a child. We didn't know what to do with them, and so they stayed where they were placed in the hall. And then, it seemed a good place to me, to throw my car keys and spare house keys into when not in use. I mean it wouldn't be easy to loose this box would it? Only now, on account of some clever car theft going on in our area, it seems that the keys must be put in a metal box.
We appear to have chocolate coins left over from Christmas. Better eat those.
Anyway, this is week two of the 52 week challenge. The category is composition and the theme is colour harmony. I think this fulfils the brief.
Beautiful colours and composition, I love the black background and I also spot another little selfie in there. Keep you metal box away from any doors Helen, maybe even keep it in the fridge. Gary is an auto locksmith and sees and hears so much about this type of proxy key theft.
Really does do the trick for composition & color...I saw the next one first and I like the composition in this one better...more "breathing" space it seems...and unusual for me because I am usually the close-up kid.
I love this.. the graded sizes of the objects on the left and the burst of colours from the box, makes for such a pleasing image. I like the variety of textures and materials in the picture too. Our decs are still out and around in the spare room and there they stay till we get visitors and are compelled to put them away...
