At last I have a snippet of time to myself. The Easter feasts all prepared, enjoyed and cleared away, the guests departed and a bank holiday afternoon free to enjoy. That is, as long as I continue to ignore the list of admin tasks that have been the unfulfilled purpose of my last week off work.
Hurry though, it would seem we ended up inviting some friends over for a drink this evening.
ooh i'm very partial to skagen watches, though i don't yet possess one ... i like your upside-down capture of this one ... hope you had a relaxing time before yet more guests arrived :)
You're text made me laugh. "as long as I continue to ignore the list of admin tasks" - The story of my life! Love all the different metallic surfaces in this
I'm glad you had an afternoon free to enjoy and having friends over for a drink sounds quite enjoyable also. This is a beautiful watch and excellent photo! I really like your focus and DOF. Did you flip the original image? Just curious. :-)
@adayinmallacoota thank you Belinda. I tried lots of different angles. @gaylewood Yes I love my watch - despite the little chips in the glass. The image is not flipped - I was trying lots of different postions since some were catching too much reflection of the conservatory windows. @kjarn yes I love it. @suzanne234 I hae been ignoring those admin tasks for too long. The camera gets in the way. @taffy thank you Taffy. Thought this one was a little different from the usual. @onewing Busy days are good. We had a good evening. @janemartin I am very fond of my watch, but it unfortunately has a couple of chips in the glass. And like you, I am all for a busy social life. @helenm2016 thanks Helen. The trouble with the admin tasks is that they mostly reside on my computer. As does my photoshop programme .... @pistache thank you. You should get one - im very fond of mine. A restful afternoon was spent. Not so sure about the drinking and socialising late into the eve before going back to work.....but a good time was had. @ziggy77 thanks Jo. Indeed I did.
An unusual view of your watch but it works so well Helen. Time just flies when you're playing with your camera though, don't you find? Hope you enjoyed your bit of a rest anyway.
Lovely comp
