I was enjoying the strong horizontal lines in the scenery around me on Sunday. I wish I had given this shot more than a passing glance as I think I could have made something more of it with more care and attention. As I took one shot, I dismissed it as carrying no interest, but once out of the camera, I found I would like to have lingered a little longer and brought the ploughed part of the field into focus.
Now this shot may have worked really well for your stacking challenge because you could take a shot focused on the foreground, then the mid-range and finally the distance with the focus being adjusted each time. The final result would have all three areas in focus and probably look really good. Something to think about if you're able to return there. Good shot.
@olivetreeann thank you Ann. You are absolutely right and I knew it at the time, but I was distracted and had kind of decided not to bother as it was time I turned back. But I wish I had.
