West Bank in the spring time - the prettiness of the countryside, the fruits and flowers and butterflies … but there is sadness in everything too. I hope the bees and the birds and the butterflies are happy - they can come and go as they please.
This is a lovely capture! I think the wildlife is happy because it can only be what it is. We humans are the ones who agonise over what we are or should be . . .
@shannejw it does look like the Painted Lady. Interestingly I just found an article sighting millions of painted lady butterflies passing through Israel at this time of year - in migration.
