I took the morning out to visit some nearby woods and have another go at capturing some bluebells. I find it particularly difficult to get bluebell images that I like. Today was no different. Anyhow, determined not to come home without a handful of images from the woodland that I actually like, I stayed - through sunshine, rain, hail and breezes. So these will be my theme for the coming days.
Actually - I had a bit of difficulty getting there in the first place - left the map at home. Wrongly believed I knew the way. Google sort of came to the rescue in the end. Then I found that I got lost in the woods - despite having taken a snapshot of the map at the entrance. Some friendly dog walkers put me back on my tracks enabling me to proceed with the photography.
Here, I found wild garlic. This time, exactly where I like to see it best. it was good to sit on a log and be in my own world of composition again with no pressure on time. Not minding the results, I did have an enjoyable time in the process.
Lovely way to do photography (well, not the lost part...you know what I mean!) And I really admire this...I don't have your eye when things are so abundant!
Perfect for contemplation and reflection.. You have brought to my attention my lack of attention to wild garlic. Ran past it many times and never looked closely. That's bad!
