Two views

From this position one can look out over Paris and admire the full view, or one can look across to study the detail of the architecture of Sacre Coeur.

I'm adding this one to the collection to amuse myself. As I look at it, I can hear Dad telling me - as he did on that very day - about how modern photographers think they are so clever breaking the rules and how many times he now sees portraits with the subject looking out of the picture with no space ahead, and all the space being behind them. He just can't understand it.

Sorry Dad, it seems I did that to you, here.

But the chap in the foreground adds to the picture as a whole. I love the composition.

As a photographer of the old school I agree with your Dad! But I'm not sure modern photographers know that they are breaking the
rules! Nevertheless I really like this shot! I rely on sticks like those too.
