Pink Flowers by helenhall

Pink Flowers

My apologies for the uninspired title of this photograph. The primary reason I am posting it is because I would love to know what these flowers are and I cant find them anywhere on the internet or in my wild flowers of Britain and Europe book.

They were growing along the edge of a flower meadow at Sharpenhoe Clappers, and I snapped them with a view to coming back for more from the meadow before taking the step that finished my time at these Ancient woodlands.
Think it looks like Convolvulus Arvensis (field bindweed) but I could be wrong - very pretty little plant

@fbailey thank you! I see now that you are right. I couldn't work it out with the flowers being closed but this suggestion makes much sense now that I have looked at images.

I've never seen completely pink bindweed before! There's plenty of pure white and white with a pale pink stripe where I live. Nicely captured in the sunlight Helen.
