A visit to the Alcazar is a must when in Seville. We were remiss in realising the demand and did not book in advance. So we queued in the heat of the day, and would not have got in if we hadn't taken up the official guided tour giving fast track entry. So much to feast the eyes on and so little time to take it all in.
This royal palace is still in use, a building influenced by Moorish and Christian culture. Oh to go back on a quiet day, with a camera that behaves! This, from my phone.

I shall continue to show a selection of my travel photos as I find time to look at them. I am so looking forward to finding time to look at your photos too. These days are very full. Tomorrow my son has surgery in London, but I will be back.
nicely composed image and your phone has done itself proud! am very much hoping your son's surgery has gone well, and to see you back in these parts when you are able :)
you did well with this shot, helen. the details are rather crisp and i like that. the fusion of Moorish and Christian culture really blends well in this structure; if only it were true of the people today. aces!
