On this last day of the year, we took a trip to the National Trust property at Styal, which houses an old industrial cotton mill.
A quiet walk around the mill pond here was most enjoyable in the sunshine.
Our year ahead is set to be dominated by needs of both my father and my father-in-law in their different but demanding circumstances. We hope to do them justice in our support. We look for tranquility, but know that there will be ripples.
Wishing you all a very Happy New Year and looking forward to continuing through 365 project and enjoying your company and photgraphy through the year ahead.
Love this Helen - here’s to wishing you will have less ripples in the coming year— taking care of a parents is one of the most difficult yet honorable thing one must do. Such a beautiful image
Beautiful picture, and I love how you connected it with a very special meaning...ripples in the tranquility. Your writing and photography inspire. May you find peace and even joy in your circumstances. While sometimes hidden, both will be there.
Happy New Year to you and yours, Helen
Happy New Year, Helen. May 2020 be a good one.
