Not only am I posting a daisy again, but I really haven't anything interesting to say either.
Too much time spent trying to edit less than mediocre photographs in an attempt to turn them into something of merit.
Despite the 750,000 people that signed up to volunteer after the government appeal, and the local community hub gathering another haul of local volunteers, yesterday there were urgent appeals from our local hospital for volunteers to sign up direct with them; and today, the regional ambulance service are also calling for up to 1000 people to help them deliver their service. Alongside this, came a plea for local people to volunteer to do essential shift work in a hotel where our homeless have been temporarily housed.
Where are all these people coming from? It is humbling to see so many people stepping forward and prepared to put themselves in the danger zone. It is distressing to see that there is such need.
It seems your mind and heart are in a different space. Maybe it’s time to look at your archives. If you see something that gives you joy, post it.
This not a critique of your dear little daisy, but sad to hear your story. The community response is inspiring.
i like the grainy look, and the focus on the graceful tutu petals is spot on. and humbling indeed to hear about the community spirit, which seems to be flourishing everywhere in these troubling times
I like the creative, grainy look of this image! It is so unique...one wouldn't think to treat a daisy to grain. I also love that you processed it in black and white...so perfect. As always, I enjoyed your commentary. You have a refreshing knack for balancing the challenges with goodness.
