I love how the parents are looking in opposite directions as if keeping watch. The fact is, it was like a bank holiday at Southend here at the beach end of Priory lake yesterday. All the families were congregating and intermixing and generally enjoying the daybreak. It was hard to create a composition amongst them.
This family remained semi socially distanced as a unit for a very brief moment and I was glad to have captured them together.
I am very content to be in my family unit of just two right now - even though I do miss seeing our fully fledged and adult offspring. Today we celebrated 34 years of marriage together. An early morning walk (taking the liberty of driving to a location about 4 miles away), cooked breakfast with bucks fizz in the garden, lots of chill time, dinner in the garden and soon to watch one of the National Theatres productions that they are streaming weekly, on tv. Not much hardship here.
Congratulations on your anniversary. Not every marriage lasts that long. I wish you a lot of beautiful moments.
And a belated Happy Anniversary!!
