The Cheshire Plain

So I am back in Cheshire for another week. Last week was a bit of a write-off with poor opportunities, motivation and no inspiration, and in any case, I was knee deep* in some serious advocacy work on behalf of my father and an ongoing horror story regarding his change of phone line supplier.

Who knows what this week will bring, but today, I am content that as my father chose to watch the fa cup final, I was able to sneak out for a walk from his house - up the steps and round the Little Switzerland circuit, with a lovely view over the Cheshire plains and to the Welsh hils beyond.

* upon reflection, I think up to the eyeballs would have been a better turn of phrase.
