These flowers were brought in from my Father's garden to sit on the window cill. Caught in the sunlight and reflected in the window glass on a previous visit.
Dad is very particular about what sits on his window cill to accompany his view out from his chair into the garden and having allowed his carer daughters and son to get away with a rearrangement here and there over the weeks, this day ( as I was returning back home to Bedford), Dad found the energy to retrieve the correct vases and pieces from where they had migrated to, and restore order.
That's sort of sweet that he's particular about things and still knows how to put them the "right way" when others don't quite do it to his liking- but I'm sure it's not easy to live with at times. There's something very calming about this picture. Nicely captured reflection and nature.
i had to smile. your father indulged you to re-arrange and make things fresh and new. but once you go away, he'd want the familiar things as it makes life easier for him. he's still in charge!
beautiful in light and dof
