Winter forest

I don't seem to be capable of walking past tall trees together without trying a bit of ICM.

Today is transit day as I begin another week caring for Dad. I left very early so as not to be rushed - my sister was involved in a multiple car pile up on the motorway on her return from duty last weekend, so everyone is nervous about the driving. I drove in mist, wet, sleet and snow but all was well. Stopped just outside Dad's village to take a picture in the forest with the snow covered fields beyond. No time for 10000 steps though!
I do love a bit of ICM, although it’s very hit and miss and never quite know what I am doing. Great example of great ICM in this shot. Fab

So interesting to see static items with so much "motion" to them! Turned out pretty cool.

Great effect. Lovely contrast between dark trunks and joyful light.

Trees make perfect ICM subjects don't they.

Hope your sister wasn't injured in the pile up on the motorway. I used to hate travelling in winter when I lived in the UK.

Just the right amount of ICM. Excellent.

It's so great how the colours are blurring into each other with this technique.
