Whilst our snow is still on the ground, I wanted to post another snow scene - this was taken yesterday when the snow was coming down hard. It was an effort to use the camera without risk of snow damage and I hadn't really thought about that before choosing to explore in the thick of the snow storm.
I took a second chance to rise early and get some day break shots this morning, and although sunrise was not as spectacular as yesterday when I missed it, I still enjoyed watching the day break and will post a couple of shots from that soon.
Beautiful snowfall. It’s so nice to be able to photograph the snow, but you are right, it must be a quick action in order not to damage the camera. Fav
Absolutely love this. Brr....how did you keep yourself and the camera dry? The I was on vacation to the snow I struggles with gloves, , falling snow, cold etc.
I keep looking and looking...the beauty of this scene has me captivated. This would make a lovely greeting card. You are so talented...I love the way you see the world.
@dutchothotmailcom i certainly did not keep myself dry! I just chose somewhere a little sheltered and took the picture with one hand whilst sheltering the lens with the other. It is only a little camera but if the zoom gets wet it will malfunction.
