willow curtain

Apologies for being annoying and loading so many photos in one day - always playing catch up and then days later falling behind again. Nearly there.

I am making a deliberate attempt to be mindful in my photography, having heard a fabulous talk by Paul Sanders who quit a top job as a photographer for the Times newspaper and now practices photography for mental health. I love his approach to photography - 'the camera is the last part of the equation, how you feel about your subject is the first'
I would imagine the camera must be able to do what he feels. He would know his camera inside and out!

Lovely DOF. I tried a similar shot yesterday and it was poor - this is excellent.

Wonderful greens with that soft background. Beautiful subject with excellent composition!
I too seem to get behind and play catch up only to get behind again. I even post restricted so I do not overwhelm everyone's feed - lol!
His philosophy is wonderful and ever so true,
A FAV, BTW.

I love that philosophy...thanks for the reminder! This is lovely...such fresh, pretty greens and great dof. Something about willow is so pleasing.
