Whenever I get away for a few days, one of my greatest pleasures is to rise early to see the sunrise. I am not someone who easily gets out of bed in the mornings, but the excitement of being somewhere where I can view the early morning display in beautiful surroundings gets me out of bed.
We stayed at Laugharne in South Wales - the setting for a television programme called Keeping Faith which we consumed during lockdown.
I'm just filling in one of the gaps in my calendar as I go through the photos (eventually) for any needed processing.
Early is best. Not only do you get to see the sunrise, it's also just before you get the best light of the day, the wildlife is active and there are very few people about
