Disrobed

Went in search of a photo this evening and enjoyed a brief post-dinner walk which felt like a luxury.

It takes a while nowadays for me to connect with what is around me and find something of interest - but once I am engaged, I am truly engaged.

A small patch of wild flower sowing in the local park took my interest this evening and especially this disheveled looking poppy in its deteriorating and irredeemable state.
it's the quirky stem that brings it to life

Fabulous detail, I think poppy needs a leg wax, ha ha.

Love the curvy stem and weathered flower petals. A kinda dramatic shot.

So glad to see you back! I posted the last picture of my fourth project today and decided to check in on you before I go. Your pictures since returning are lovely and your words a joy to read as always. I’ve missed the light you bring to this site. I wish you the best with your re-engagement with photography and your new lifestyle! I’ll be checking in from time to time. Take care and have fun!

This is a wonderful closeup, and your title helps make it a storytelling scene. Welcome back!
