I tried this still life with a light background, a textured background and a black background. Very different results but this one shows the elements the most clearly.
(Having a bit of a difficult time, plus my computer is back at the repair shop and the news is not looking good. Sorry to be neglecting you all at the moment, I am prioritising taking and posting where I can in order that I don't end up giving up on the site as before).
