Bluebells with Stitchwort

I'm working my way through too many bluebell photos from Friday. This is my first one edited and I think will probably be my favourite.

Bluebells make such a difficult thing to photograph. Our eyes see a carpet of blue but the camera all too often picks out a disarray of seemingly anarchic plants with broken branches invading the image at all angles.

I wanted to convey that sea of blue and was really pleased how this one came out (with a little help from the blur feature in photoshop.

This is lovely and you’re right, very difficult to photograph. I’ve gone for singular stems more this year

Really, really pretty, Helen. The pops of white make it very special too. I think you achieved the "field of" look with the lovely blurred background.
