Over the hills and far away... by helenmoss

Over the hills and far away...

We went for a lovely walk on Bircher Common near Ludlow. The sun was shining and there were beautiful views all around. While I was trying to take a nice, sensible photo of Mum and Dad walking along, the boys were rugby tackling each other and leaping into the picture right in front of me; this is one of the few that doesn't have a blurry elbow or foot flying across the frame!
Great shot Helen :o)

Too funny...I remember those days! Most of mine have a hand or baseball glove in front of the camera...the boys would do that just about every time they caught me trying to take a photo of them!

I envision this, and all that's taking place outside of the frame, like something in a riotously funny movie! The music, with birds chirping, is playing in the background as Mum & Dad stroll, and *bam*! in flies the blur of an elbow! What a delight, your mirthful adventures through the English countryside!

I think you've got the picture exactly!

Glad you persevered Helen, this is a wonderful shot! Love everything about it, the obvious conversation taking place, the skyline view in the mist, and the romping dog. The story just adds a little kick to it. smile.

Very sweet...you captured such a natural moment between your parents.

this photo melts my heart. this is what its all about...capturing precious little moments that otherwise slip by. Love how they are leaning on to eachother and the space around them adds to that closeness.

glad to know you can still see the love after 47 years !
