You Looking At Me? by helenmoss

You Looking At Me?

On sunny mornings we walk the back way across the fields to school. One of our neighbours keeps two alpacas, one black one white.
We always stop to admire them on our way past. The dogs love to run madly up and down the fence and "herd" them. The alpacas are totally unperturbed by these shows of canine exuberance. They just look over the fence with their big brown eyes and their knowing little smiles, with an air of mild bafflement about them.

I just noticed that there is an alpaca picture on the popular page today! Sorry it if looks as if I'm jumping on the alpaca bandwagon but I thought this funny face would be the perfect way to round off April!
I love the way you have the background dark so that you can see the hair (fur?) on his ears standing up. I'm just itching to give him a rub :)

That was my alpaca pic on the favorite page. It's nice to see another one! They have such expressive faces. That's a really nice close-up of such a weird creature.

Too many Alpacas? Never! They have the dearest little faces...and those smiles you speak of! I'm tickled with Lauren's comment! Did you see what she started one day on a picture of Llamas Christine posted? If I leave you a link, you'll be singing the song in your head for a day or more... I know Lauren was so tempted, so I'll do it as an offering from both of us :-) http://www.albinoblacksheep.com/flash/llama Beware... You've been warned...
