It looks as if I popped down to the South of France for the day, but this is just up the road in Barton - a village with a lovely courtyard of shops converted from old brick farm buildings. They still work the farm and there are often animals around about. I don't know why there was no one sitting outside the cafe in the sunshine. I'd just gone there to buy supplies for the barbeque from the butcher's shop. It has been the most perfect summery day. Just look at that sky! I haven't boosted the colour, honest!
What a charming setting! I could love a place with shops in old farm buildings and animals still roaming nearby! I'll take your word for now that this looks like the south of France... Like you, I have to wonder why the courtyard is not full on such a lovely day!
