Jenga For Giants

I'm guessing that these straw bales weren't stacked by a guy with a pitchfork!
This is the same field I photographed back in July when the wheat was first turning gold.

I thought the dead tree in the background added a little drama to the scene and fitted in the with the stormy sky. It was lashing down with rain by the time I got home.
wow, I have never seen such neatly stacked hay bales. Very impressive!

@ Helen. Another friend dropped 8 duck eggs in to me so I thought...try a quiche as Helen said...well...I have been cooking for myself for 28 years and what a disaster!!!! My pastry was so bad it is now in the bin, so quiche not a happening thing.... 8.30 at night and had to re-visit what I was cooking for dinner..oh well... Have to go to the nearest village tomorrow for a haircut so will buy pastry and make a quiche for tomorrows dinner. Will let you know how #2 turns out.
