Moon Rise by helenmoss

Moon Rise

A bit of a failure today as I forgot to charge my camera batteries. I took photos on my iPhone in Cambridge today but somehow manages to delete them as I uploaded them to the computer (they were no great loss to the world of photography as they were average at best!) So here is my final exasperated attempt with my iPhone clutched in a frozen hand on the evening dog walk. If you have a magnifying glass handy you can see the moon, but at least the trees look satisfyingly spooky.
love it, really nice composed and of course lovely colors

Bravo for perseverance. Should have titled this picture "Robert the Bruce and the Spider"!

We all have days like this...but all is not lost...I see a "monster" amongst the trees on the right hand side!

This is lovely, just my sort of picture. Sorry about your great photographic loss but I think this more than compensates. I took a very similar photo myself this evening minus moon!

Glad you got one that you liked. I like it too. I think the monster in the right hand corner is a giant rabbit.

@suelbiz47 You're right - it is a giant rabbit - I think it's the wererabbit from the Wallace And Gromit film!

Before I read that this was taken by an iPhone,I was already going to write,'I love this!'.

Lately I read that a New York Times photographer used it instead of his professional camera, and the photos come out very well:
