Just when I thought I might be hanging up my 365 camera for a while this lovely scene passed before my eyes and I couldn't resist snapping and sharing. I went into Cambridge for a while this afternoon to get some writing done - too many distractions at home - I'm very easily distracted at the moment, so even the dust on the skirting boards and the cobwebs in the corners that I'm usually perfectly happy to ignore are calling me away from my computer. The Christmas lights are still up and look so pretty reflected in the shiny wet pavement - the upside of a day of constant drizzle. I hope the young couple with the buggy don't mind being in my picture but they looked so happy and serene (with such good posture too!) they seemed like natural models. if you look carefully on the left about halfway down you will see a familiar M sign - it must be one of the most understated McDonalds on the planets, with Georgian style windows to blend in with the other bijou boutiques on this lane!
have just noticed the magical 100% has been reached. We seem to be stuck around the 36% for too long! Things just keep on getting in the way and before I know it a week has passed. I blame it on the kids!
That's gorgeous Helen - and so nice to have the general public centre themselves in your shot instead of poking a stray body part into an otherwise perfect compsition!
Happy New Years and good luck with keeping on-track with the writing (:
