Gravedigger's Walk by helenmoss

Gravedigger's Walk

I was lucky enough to enjoy a gorgeous walk through the suffolk countryside today with three friends (including @judithg) and four dogs. Judith came across the walk in a local magazine - it had been submitted by a third-generation gravedigger, as his favourite walk. Aptly so, as the six-mile circuit took in three old village churches, including this one at Moulton near Newmarket, with this lovely grassy graveyard - sprawling, slightly higgeldy-piggeldy and very pretty, set among the surrounding gently rolling farmland. It looked like a very peaceful place to rest.
That's gorgeous - another lovely feature of the English countryside.

Lovely shot Helen. Old church yards/grave yards are full of interesting things to photograph. :)

It does look calm and peaceful. Sounds like a good walk, I love to look at the old grave stones.

I like the title for your picture, I always find grave yards very depressing places ..
