Meet My Girls - Holly, Belle and Cat

I think I'm finally almost starting to believe I'm a real writer - and it's not just a story I made up to explain why I sit at the computer all day. Tonight I met up with other writers for a lovely chat...all about writing.

And then the publisher sent me through the final version of the bind-up of the last two Superstar High books. I really love the new covers they have designed. Somehow they've managed to find models who look exactly how I imagined each character. Having written four books about the three girls pursuing their dreams at the Garrick School of the Performing Arts, they feel almost like real daughters (and since I only have boys, this is quite a treat!).

Very cool. I just got in the mail last night my friend's first book hot off the press. I hated to put it down to come to work today. What a joy to be able to hold in your hand the culmination of all your thoughts.
