It's not impressionism but heavy rain that has given this soggy water-colour look to my garden The forecast said sunshine and showers and they were right - but these were showers with attitude! This photo - taken through the living room window after one such downpour - was due to the camera wanting to focus on the raindrops (and grime) on the window, rather than than the bedraggled roses. This is pretty much what it looks like out there if I take my glasses off too!
Hahaa - if I take my glasses off it comes into focus!! I've been drenched twice in two days now - I'm not happy. I even had an umbrella at lunch time but it was like having a bucket of water thrown down the back of my trousers!
