Spring In A Teapot! by helenmoss

Spring In A Teapot!

Taking all the Christmas decorations down was a bit sad but there is something to be said for the decluttered look! And now this lovely blue hyacinth that one of my sisters-in-law brought us over Christmas can take pride of place on the windowsill. it is filling the kitchen with its perfume - every time I enter the room I get a waft of Springtime.

Three Good Things
1. Wasabi Nose. Lunch at Yo Sushi after emergency shopping trip to buy school trousers for Will (back to school tomorrow and last term's trousers mysteriously appear minuscule). I love the sinus-busting tingle of wasabi, and so does Will. We call it 'wasabi nose'.
2. Bread and butter pudding made from leftover Christmas cream and mincemeat. The healthy-eating programme starts tomorrow!
3. Hyacinths
Oooh very springy - I meant to buy flowers but I forgot after the trolley overload with Rachel. I should stuff some wasabi up Adam's nose - it might do the trick.

These look very bright and cheerful. I got some red tulips to cheer up the room, I took some photographs of them last night , but didn't get round to putting then on

I love that wasabi nose too! great name for it as well. I also love the sunny springtime feel of your flowers and pot.
