Only a few days in and already I'm falling back on a filler but as I do this walk almost every day (more often twice a day) with the dogs, it's not such a cheat. It's only just after four and the sun is already sinking and catching the row of poplars in the next field in a blaze of orange.
(Bonus points if you can name the film that the title quote comes from. I know Mum will get it!)
Three Good Things
1. Playing badminton with friends
2. Trying to catch up with two weeks of Christmas holiday news with friends while remembering to return the shuttlecock.
3. Fleecy welly liners. I brought myself a pair from Primark for one pound just before Christmas and they are a revelation. Warm feet without socks falling down inside wellies.
