Walking through the dunes

Another peaceful morning walk on Lindisfarne Island. Warm sunshine and everywhere deserted before the causeway opened and visitors begin to arrive.

Love the grasses - haven't decided whether to get over to Lindisfarne yet only a 4 night break and it's quite a drive from Warkworth but I'd like to go.

I would recommend it - especially if you can stay the night so you are there when the causeway isn't open so it's all deserted - not that I'm completely anti-social but there is something so lovely about the quiet!
