September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month (yellow is their color). Marta @whimsicalgrateful has invited everyone to join in with some yellow captures. If you'd like to participate for a day, a week, or the whole month, the tag is monthofyellow.
This is a wooden cup I use as pencil holder my son painted when he was 4. Now he is 12. It doesn't have a lot of yellow, but think it fits the theme. I hope to have more yellow in my pic tomorrow...

Thank you @linnypinny! - I agree - yellow is hard. But I have quite a few ornaments in yellow and there is food (cheese, bananas, pineapple, peppers) and flowers - although I didn't spot a yellow flower today and I'm paying a lot of attention to this color!
@linnypinny@ingrid01 I thought I'd just chime in and throw in a couple of ideas to help you out since you both to seem really keen on showing your support to the cause. Have you looked for yellow road signs, crayons, paint, pegs, clothes, drinks, lemons, toys, tools (a fair few of my husband's screwdrivers have yellow handles), ... ? You could also just shoot the same subject over and over, but in different places, lighting conditions, angles. Or perhaps find some yellow paper and cut out shapes, do some origami. I have also had a browse on Pinterest for some yellow inspiration and found a few good ideas there too. Let me know if you are stuck for ideas and I'll happily lend you a hand. And again, thank you so very much already! xx
I was sure I could fill a week, but a month...? But you gave me some great ideas! Thank you Marta!
