my get pushed challenge from Brigette @brigette "how about a black and white shot with an architectural theme.... capture the detail of a building - it could be something ornate or even a shadow!" Being from Dearborn, Michigan, hometown of Henry Ford and Ford Motor company, I went to the Ford Estate "Fair Lane" and photographed Henry and Clara Ford's home. The design has been described as part prairie-style and part English manor home. This window tells that story as it gives us a peek inside the mansion at it's ornate interior detail although the window itself is quite plain...that is not the case for all of it's portals. My alternate and extra photos show some more elaborate details.
