however, for me, it's over! I am not totally happy with the outcome. one of the daughters squinted in every picture : ( the bride didn't want traditional posing for the most part so there are some pretty off-kilter photos, but I hope and pray that I can make enough good images to do an album. long day...on to the Baptism and first birthday for our little Evelyn!
But, you did it:) Good job, Jackie and don't be so hard on you. I totally know how you feel. I hated my photos at the end of the wedding. I think you did a great job!
This is such a lovely shot! like their poses here! And don't be so hard on yourself! all the beginning is hard, but its about the memories for them and you've captured that great!
@californialover@madamelucy@nicoleterheide@timewalker@lisamccloskey@aat3877@vstap@365projectorgkerry@rieva@kimdavis@flygirl thanks for the comments everyone. sorry I couldn't comment on every photo you all posted...it is so hard to play catch up. I don't think I would do anymore weddings. maybe as a second shooter just for practice but it is too much pressure! I am too old to spend 12 hours shooting on my feet and dragging around equipment. an assistant would have been a great help. oh well....my prayer is that they are happy enough. thanks again all you wonderful people!
Sensitive picture. Yes I try not to do weddings as they are a heck of a lot more work than everyone thinks. a lot of people blink when you use Speedlites so I take Bowens which flashes at a faster rate, not giving people time to blink. It's heavy stuff to cart around though.
@suefoll thanks for the tip. don't know that I will be getting any more lighting equipment and I am sure glad I had that flash or none of my indoor shots would be any good! @lxxx thanks so much!
