the boats were on the lake tonight to witness the fireworks display put on by the town of Pentwater for their town festival. their lights made for a beautiful night time bokeh!
@steveandkerry hi Stephen. Bokeh is the blur you get in photos associated with shallow depth of field. Light bokeh is especially pretty as you can see!
So as your get pushed partner this week I have a few get pushed options for you.
1) near/far - photograph something (whether placed or discovered) in foreground in focus with a blurry background (or vise versa) but you really need both to tell the complete story or make your image really work. My preference would be that it includes an object or something placed with something you discovered (ie; hiking shoes along a path, etc.) but it really is up to you.
OR
2) oil & water
OR
3) it's all done with mirrors - there are creative shots that use mirrors but it's up to you how you would interpret that.
