I'll make you a pizza you can't refuse...

our family's favorite restaurant...if you went here you would probably wonder why...Gracie (who the restaurant was named after when she was young) asked about my sister's condition (obvious because her head is covered with a buff because of her lack of hair from chemo)...she hadn't seen her like this...but she asked when so many people pretend not to see or are too afraid to talk to someone with cancer for whatever reason...it's just a family thing you see, so that is why we go...not just for the ambience (the walls are covered with old beer posters religious paintings framed fish pictures and any other number of mismatched items) the food is good but not great by culinary standards, but because it's a family thing you see. by the way, according to my sister, you should ask that person you see how they are doing. It sure made her feel good.
Glad to hear you had a good time. Thanks for being so open about your sister's feelings. It's not always easy to know how to react.

what a touching story. i think the world is forgetting how to have personal connections... so very important. keeping your sister in my prayers.
