I hope you all had a wonderful Mother's Day! after the awful photo I posted of me and my daughter, when my daughter asked me what I wanted to do for mother's day I asked for a real photo shoot of the two of us. she is beautiful and can pose naturally. I, on the other hand, am super awkward in photos. I have been all my life. I am fairly pleased with this one. would have been better to have someone else do the shoot. I fired the camera with my remote. someone else could have told me what I was doing wrong with my face!
@kali66 I tried bringing the teeth down and it looked weird! I will work on the eyes. Her teeth are really white. mine not as much. these aren't whitened in post! her brother broke one of her teeth by accident. they put on a porcelain veneer so she has to keep them white to match the veneer (which doesn't change color like a real tooth) because it is right in the front lol! thanks for the feedback Kali.
i tried a curves adjustment which lightened the mid-tones, i think it lifted it a bit, , try 'lighter' in the dropdown box in the curves tool and see what you think.,
@izzyromilly@kali66@kali66@777margo thanks for commenting. I am fairly happy with the photos. I will continue some work before I print. I did bring the midtones up a bit and I think it helped as well ad dodging the whites of the eyes. I think we just picked up a lot of light with our teeth @kali66! thanks for the suggestions!
