babysitting today for daughter's postpartum checkup. she is healing but not fully there yet. doctor said although they consider 6 months as fully healed they don't recommend getting pregnant for a full year and a half. not that she is even thinking about it but just wondering exactly what her body went through with the c-section. the little guy slept for a good portion of the time I was there so I pulled out the macro and did some of the detail shots I have been wanting to get since he was born.
my sister was telling me about when she had her twins by caesarean, she found it very difficult to bond with her babies after, and felt they got very good care being slightly prem, but she didnt get enough support, hope your daughter is feeling supported, and glad you have the time with your little one.
