Detroit is known as Hockeytown...the larger than life sports heroes I knew as a kid are passing away sadly...Ted Lindsay was part of what was called the "Production Line". Three players that were so tough they were hard to beat. That was when hockey was much more of a blood sport. He was small and scrappy. They made penalties for elbowing and kneeing because of him. Off the ice he was an amazing man. He raised millions for autism research and education. He was 93 years old when he passed. This video tribute was up on Cobo Hall in Downtown Detroit. Rest well #7!
