Campus Martius is a circle in downtown Detroit. each year they set up a Christmas Tree about 60 feet tall and an ice skating rink there. there are also pop up shops for Christmas shopping along one of the arms that radiate out from the circle. it all makes for a pleasant afternoon out in the city. my view was at 6:30 am on my way to feed the guests at the center where I volunteer. the lights make a dark morning very pretty!
