when I came upon this scene I thought of Ansel Adams's Moonrise over Hernandez. I think I was just looking for something to do with these birches. I looked for birches most of the fall to photograph with the leaves on. could never position myself to get a good shot. now I know where these are, hopefully next year. but I digress...I loved the setting moon between the trees although all detail is lost because it was so faint. I could have composited as I took a shot a bit earlier of just the moon. anyway I know it will never be worth tens or hundreds of thousands of dollars so I'm not particularly worried ; )
